The new bus, Sexy Rexy, made its first trip to North Carolina in May, where we stayed up in the cool Smoky Mountains through to the end of July.
Our spot in Mountain Falls is looking great after a little TLC to the landscaping... with the chef performing culinary wonders, as usual:
Five weeks of feeding and five little ducklings have been transformed from balls of yellow fluff to quacking and flapping ducks.
And today saw the successful launching of the USR (United States Raft) Duckster, loaded with all five ducks, and towed out to position in the middle of the lake.
A little cautious at first, hanging out inside the duck-house with an occasional beak poking out of the duck-house door, the ducks finally made their appearance late afternoon and began to figure out what life on the water is all about.
